Here we go...
In just a few short hours I will be meeting my first classroom of students. I'm a bit scarred, but ready. My room is decorated, the books are on their desks, and my speech is written. The only thing that can help now is prayer. And lots of it.

Hi Katie,
Davis and I were thinking of you and praying for you as you met your students and their parents. I guess it went pretty well by the sound of it! I was thinking...I miss the good ol' days of elementary school where you got candy for being good and participating...you got recess-time during the school day to play...and when learning was fun :) Now days you have to hope you get lunch sometime during the day and spend restless nights wondering if you did all of your homework!!!
Hope you have a great year! We're excited to see the apartment and classroom as soon as we can :)

Relax, you'll be great! My first day was definately one to remember....make sure you write down anything funny, special, or unusual that happens. You'll want to remember your first day forever.

I have been praying for you. You will never know how much I miss you. I am getting another set of twins in my class!! That puts me up to 20 on my roster. Sorry I missed you. Didn't make it on campus, we were cleaning carpets. Keep in touch.
